“Auntie Lynn”, the creator and author of the philanthropic children’s entertainment phenomenon “The Magical Scarecrows”, is offering to run events at Gold Coast schools FREE (and at schools beyond the Gold Coast for basic travel expenses only).

 

Included in the appearance is a five minute clip from “The Stars Read the Scarecrows”, video recorded by the iconic and legendary star of Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds”, Tippi Hedren, with two tigers romping playfully in the background.

 

After the five minute screening Auntie Lynn will complete the reading of Chapter One and then run a competition where everyone will be invited to draw a scarecrow.  The three best entries will win a free copy of “The Magical Scarecrows – Book One” signed by Auntie Lynn.

 

HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO PUT ON YOUR OWN MAGICAL SCARECROW STAGE MUSICAL?

All you have to do is ask!  Auntie Lynn can provide you with an adaptation from these magical stories for you to put on your very own musical at school to raise funds for your school and/or favourite charity!

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHAT THE LIFE OF AN AUTHOR IS LIKE?

Ask Auntie Lynn all the questions you like.  As well as “The Magical Scarecrows” Auntie Lynn has written a string of successful thrillers and biographies, including the life stories of Saddam Hussein’s former personal pilot and Australia’s original wild man and conservationist, Alby Mangels.

 

CROSSING CULTURAL BOUNDARIES

As an optional extra Auntie Lynn can, by special arrangement, also organize for you to meet Captain Ali Al-Wahabi (Saddam Hussein’s former pilot) with his fellow envoys from the “Passion for Peace” team: an ultra orthodox Israeli Rabbi and a spokesperson for the Christian aid association, World Vision.  The Passion for Peace team is happy to visit schools to demonstrate how people traditionally seen as enemies can in fact be firm friends.

 

STARS READING THE SCARECROWS

“The Magical Scarecrows” was originally conceived by Auntie Lynn merely to pass on her love of the wildlife to the next generation, but it has become a symbol to promote the importance of literacy, a vehicle to cross all cultural and socio-economic boundaries, and importantly a catalyst to teach children the fundamental lesson these magical beings learn… you should only ever be limited by your imagination and your imagination should be boundless.  In crossing cultural and socio-economic boundaries The Passion for Peace team is pleased to have joined forces with the project along with many other famous friends of Auntie Lynn’s across the world.  Other super stars can be found at the store page.

	I only wish that Auntie Lynn had been around when I was a kid. I would have grown up with a real respect for old clothes and straw.
